When my parents came up the other week I was lucky enough to have them buy me some wool in the lovely John Lewis haberdashery department, among other things I got some Debbie Bliss Fez in this fantastic pink (colour 20512, dye lot 535) it's 85% merino and 15% camel (it reminded me of when I went on a camel ride through the Moroccan desert last year)
It is so soft and it's getting so cold I decided to make some mittens for myself. As I struggle with knitting in the round at the moment I found this great pattern online which is for just two needles and is really easy to follow: http://www.allfreecrafts.com/knitting/two-needle-mitts.shtml
Surprisingly the second one didn't come out as well as the first, perhaps I was getting over confident, but they really comfy and will definitely do the job. I have decided to make a few pairs for people as Christmas presents this year so I better get knitting
